Snapped this pic yesterday:
Ford GT tails on a GT Mustang.
Honestly, I like them. Also his signal was a spinning circle!

1) how did he/she do that
2) how expensive was that
3) I don’t like it

1) Aftermarket
2) Probably very
3) It’s okay to be wrong.

The circle signals just mean "beware of accidental donuts when turning"

Every time I see a Mustang, I calculate the radius to see if I’m in harm’s way. I'm better at geometry now than I was in high school.

Bold move! I’m sure there are a lot of hardcore Mustang bros who will hate this because “tradition is being broken” or somesuch, but I love it for exactly that reason.

uugghhh Mustang has the coolest turn signals in the market don’t mess with it

All the stars.

Ehhh, the Mustang crowd isn’t actually among the more “purist-oriented” communities. People might not like it, but not because of tradition, especially on a 15+.

They’re $500

They’re $500

$500 to ruin an already cool pair of signals...
![]() 08/15/2016 at 11:36 |

Probably resell those original cool signals for $100. So only $400 in total cost. I think they’re cool!

Doesn’t bother me from a “purist” perspective, I just think it’s ugly.

I’m no hardcore Mustang bro but I absolutely love the sequential turn signals, they’re the coolest of all stock tail lights in the market - all of the market.

I like it. It actually fits really well with the black bar.
![]() 08/15/2016 at 12:11 |

The signals were technically sequential by lighting up one hemisphere of the circle at a time.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so torn...
On one hand, the Mustang has awesome stock taillights, and I think the latest generation look the best of almost all of them. Why mess with something that’s already cool?
But on the other hand, it looks... good! I don’t know what it is, but I love that look.

Yeah, it became a thing:

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not shitting on the stock tails - the do look good. And considering they were thought up -what, 50 years ago?- and are still a stand-out feature among all cars on the current market, I think that says a lot.
I just like to see people buck automotive tradition once in awhile, and do something sacrilege. I think it’s good for everyone to have their tastes tested.

nope, not cool enough
![]() 08/15/2016 at 13:36 |

I don’t think they even fit the look of the car though.

I respectfully disagree. Again, while not trashing the stock look at all, I think the GT lamps give it a more upscale appearance.
It reminds me of a more understated, yet more sleek, Ferrari California:

Well as long as we’re being respectful I too disagree

Well, shit, guess now I have to rethink my Christmas gift to you...
